Together with Husqvarna, we helped raise awareness on men’s health with the campaign Check Your Tools.

Husqvarna experienced that far too few men remembered getting their garden tools checked regularly to prevent breaking and need for repair. Going further, it was noticed that even fewer remembered to get their own tools to the doctor for a health check – possibly creating a serious problem for men’s health. Therefore, we created Check Your Tools to encourage men to get their tools checked – both the ones in their garden shed and the ones closer to their body.

BEHIND THE SCENES FOR CAMPAIGN VIDEO

The full Check Your Tools-campaign launched in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Here men could receive a free health-check of their garden tools as well as their body on specific dates at selected Husqvarna retailers. Respective campaign websites were set up for each country featuring an online health check and information about the specific events. Furthermore, we developed a video, a SoMe strategy and various content for the campaign. Check Your Tools also launched as a SoMe-campaign in the UK, Ireland and Estonia creating awareness of the topic.

In total, Check Your Tools launched in 7 countries and the campaign certainly helped to get a lot of men to have their tools checked as well as highlighting men’s health in general. Husqvarna has even trademarked Check Your Tools with plans of an even bigger setup in the future.
