Although the Dutch travelling agency Corendon was already present in Denmark, they lacked the desired impact in a highly competitive market. They needed a bold, memorable campaign to increase brand awareness and drive bookings. We created the “Rejsefeber” concept, centered around Dr. Corendon, a quirky doctor diagnosing people with “travel fever.” This fun and relatable character helped communicate Corendon’s wide range of travel offerings while tapping into the audience’s desire for relaxation and adventure.
The campaign was executed in two phases. First, we built a custom set in Denmark for Dr. Corendon’s playful consultations, where different characters presented “symptoms” of wanderlust. Then, we filmed on-location in Turkey, showcasing Corendon’s destinations as the “cure” for travel fever. The content was tailored for TV, social media and other digital platforms, creating high engagement across multiple channels.
Results:
Organic and direct traffic matched last year’s levels (2022), despite spending half as much on TV and outdoor advertising, demonstrating increased brand awareness.
Sales were 10-15% higher than the same period the previous year (2022), achieved with significantly lower spending.
ROI improved by over 50%, highlighting the campaign’s efficiency in generating more interest and engagement with fewer resources.
The “Rejsefeber” campaign has helped Corendon make a stronger impact in the Danish market, boosting awareness, engagement, and sales, while positioning the brand as a leading choice for holiday travelers.
